Senior Associate Executive Compensation Consultant

Alchemy has an amazing opportunity for an experienced professional with a proven background in executive compensation to join a global professional services firm in London. You will be joining their reward solutions team, who advises remuneration committees, boards, and senior management on corporate governance, pay scales, selecting and establishing performance goals, incentive designs, and benefits for new hires and departing employees.

Responsibilities:

  • Providing executive pay consultancy, including helping privately held businesses create compensation plans that are tailored to the difficulties they encounter and helping businesses prepare for an initial public offering (IPO) before becoming public.
  • Expertise with executive compensation. Including UK corporate governance into executive compensation, incentive design, performance measure selection, and calibration, stock plan values, benchmarking, and, ideally, financial services regulation.
  • Execution of superior professional advice, including client reports, and delivery to clients.
  • Establishing yourself as a key contact for clients.
  • Providing support and project management for client engagements that include identifying business challenges, developing solutions, and managing the RFP process in collaboration with the client, procurement, and legal.
  • Educating and training team members in their early careers in execution and customer delivery.
  • Accountable for adhering to the company’s limited rules and acting in line with the risk management framework.

Skills:

  • A track record of success serving as an executive compensation/remuneration consultant.
  • Speak clearly when expressing technical understanding of executive compensation to clients and workers, including UK executive compensation governance, investor relations, and regulatory needs.
  • Effective people skills for creating and maintaining client relationships, whilst managing stakeholder expectations and needs.
  • Strong writing and verbal communication abilities; capacity to summarise and deconstruct complicated material in light of customer requirements.
  • A solid knowledge of compensation and the factors that influence reward.
  • Experience in incentive design, including performance calibration and the use of performance metrics.
  • Committed to working with and growing team members; collegiate team player; shown experience mentoring a team.
  • The capacity to coordinate several efforts and set priorities for assignments.
  • Previous experience and knowledge of financial services compensation rules are preferred.
  • Degree-level education and professional certification are desirable (accountant, actuary, lawyer, CFA, or other pertinent).
