What You’ll Be Doing
- Conduct on-site and virtual pre-move surveys for household good relocations.
- Assess volume, packing needs, and special handling requirements.
- Prepare detailed and accurate survey reports for the operations team.
- Communicate effectively with clients regarding their moving needs and expectations.
- Coordinate with sales and operations to ensure accurate quoting.
- Identify potential risks and communicate solutions to mitigate them.
- Assist in developing customized moving plans based on client requirements.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry best practices and company services.
- Follow company procedures and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
- Provide excellent customer service and address client concerns promptly.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives in the survey and planning process.
- Assist with administration in the office.
What We’re Looking For
- Previous experience conducting moving surveys (virtual and/or in-home).
- Strong understanding of the moving/relocation industry and best practices.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Proficiency in using survey tools and technology.
- Relocation industry experience (household goods and/or office & industrial) required.
