Alchemy is working with an established removals company who are looking for an experienced Branch Manager to lead its Leeds operation.
This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in the removals industry who can oversee day-to-day operations, lead the team, and maintain high standards of customer service while driving the branches performance and profitability.
The Role
You'll be responsible for managing the branch, supporting staff, and ensuring household goods (HHG) moves are completed safely, efficiently, and on time.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the daily running of the Leeds branch
- Lead drivers, removals crews, coordinators, estimators, and warehouse staff
- Oversee household goods removals operations from planning through to completion
- Keep an eye on the overall branch performance, budgets, and efficiency
- Maintain excellent customer service and satisfaction
- Ensure compliance with transport regulations and health and safety standards
- Support business growth and identify new opportunities within the local market and international markets
What We're Looking For
- Previous management experience within the removals, moving, or relocation industry
- Strong knowledge of household goods (HHG) operations
- Experience leading operational teams and managing branch performance
- Good commercial awareness and budget management skills
- Knowledge of transport compliance and fleet operations
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
