We're working with an established moving and relocation company looking to hire a Commercial Moving Salesperson in Thorofare, New Jersey. The role will focus on developing new commercial moving business, managing client relationships and taking opportunities from initial enquiry through to quotation and handover to operations.
Your day-to-day Commercial Moving Salesperson responsibilities will include:
- Developing new business across commercial moving and relocation services.
- Prospecting for new clients and building relationships with local businesses and organisations.
- Meeting customers to understand their moving, storage and relocation requirements.
- Conducting site surveys and gathering the information needed to prepare accurate estimates.
- Preparing proposals and quotations for commercial moving projects.
- Following up leads, enquiries and outstanding proposals to develop new business.
- Working closely with operations to hand over confirmed projects and customer requirements.
To succeed in this role you'll need:
- Sales experience within the commercial moving, office relocation or FF&E moving and storage industry.
- A good understanding of commercial moving services and the sales process.
- Experience developing new business and managing a sales pipeline.
- Confidence conducting site surveys and discussing moving requirements with customers.
- Strong relationship-building and communication skills.
- Good organisation and follow-up skills.
