Your day-to-day responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Overseeing safety, fleet and loss prevention programs.
- Managing DOT, FMCSA and OSHA compliance, including driver qualification, Hours of Service and CDL requirements.
- Reviewing vehicle inspections, maintenance schedules and fleet safety procedures.
- Investigating accidents, injuries and incidents, including claims and corrective actions.
- Carrying out safety audits and operational reviews.
- Coordinating safety and compliance training for drivers, warehouse and operations teams.
Our client is particularly interested in candidates with:
- 5+ years’ leadership experience in safety, loss prevention, fleet, transportation, logistics or moving operations.
- Strong knowledge of DOT, FMCSA, OSHA and FMCSR requirements.
- Experience with fleet safety, accident investigations, claims and incident reporting.
- Experience using fleet & safety management systems.
- Strong communication and organisational skills.
- A valid driver’s license.
