We are seeking an Interstate Move Coordinator in Sterling, VA, for a reputable moving and relocation company. The position concentrates on the end-to-end coordination of interstate residential moves, closely collaborating with clients, van line partners, drivers, and crews.
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
- Organising the movement of interstate household goods from the first inquiry to the post-move support.
- Serving as the primary point of contact for clients during the relocation, offering updates and addressing problems.
- Creating move plans that address scheduling, crew, equipment, routing, and packing needs.
- Coordinating collections and deliveries by communicating with drivers, workers, van line partners and outside suppliers.
- Keeping precise records, keeping an eye on moving expenses, and assisting with financial reporting and billing.
- Handling client complaints, claims, and delays while collaborating with the appropriate teams to find solutions.
- Keeping track of move documentation, such as contracts, inventories, estimates, and correspondence, while making sure that interstate transportation regulations are followed.
Our client is particularly interested in candidates with:
- Knowledge of organising residential interstate movements in the moving and relocation sector.
- Experience with military relocations. (ideal)
