Key Responsibilities:
- Safely transport artwork, antiques, furniture, and auction property to and from client residences, galleries, warehouses, and auction locations.
- Assist with packing, wrapping, loading, unloading, and handling delicate or high-value items.
- Maintain accurate inventory, pickup, delivery, and condition records.
- Assist with auction setup, consignment intake, and post-sale collections.
- Plan delivery routes and ensure timely, professional service.
- Maintain a clean, organised vehicle and report maintenance or safety concerns.
- Communicate professionally with clients and exercise discretion when handling valuable property.
- Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.
- Experience in fine art handling, moving, delivery, logistics, or a related field preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safe handling practices.
- Ability to lift and move items weighing up to 50 pounds, with assistance for heavier objects.
- Reliable, punctual, organized, and professional.
- Familiarity with the New Orleans area preferred.
- Flexibility to work occasional evenings or weekends as auction schedules require.
