What You’ll Be Doing:
- Overseeing day-to-day operations across multiple moving projects in Vancouver and the surrounding areas
- Supervising a team of movers, drivers, and logistics coordinators
- Scheduling and dispatching moving crews, vehicles, and equipment for optimal coverage
- Monitoring job progress and making on-the-fly adjustments to staffing or equipment
- Ensuring compliance with safety standards and maintaining incident-free operations
- Collaborating with moving clients to understand project requirements and establish timelines
- Performing quality checks during and after moves to maintain service excellence
- Tracking and managing inventory, moving supplies, and vehicle maintenance needs
- Training, coaching, and mentoring of moving team members to maintain performance and morale
- Resolving on-site issues, client concerns, or operational bottlenecks swiftly
- Assisting in hiring, payroll reporting, and operational record-keeping
- Generating operational reports (KPI, job costing, resource usage) for management review
What We’re Looking For:
- Proven experience in the moving/relocation industry, particularly in a supervisory capacity
- Strong operational planning and logistics coordination skills
- Excellent leadership and team management abilities
- In-depth knowledge of safety regulations and procedures in moving operations
- Solid communication skills, both with clients and internal teams
