Alchemy is partnering with an established Aerospace and Defense company seeking a Process Improvement Specialist to join their team in Milwaukee, WI. 

This role will play a key role in analyzing business processes, identifying inefficiencies, and implementing data-driven solutions that improve productivity, reduce costs, and strengthen overall performance. This position requires strong analytical skills, collaboration across teams, and a proven ability to drive measurable business impact.

Responsibilities
  • Analyze current processes to identify gaps, bottlenecks, and improvement opportunities.
  • Collect, interpret, and analyze data to uncover trends and support fact-based recommendations.
  • Develop and implement process improvement initiatives to reduce cycle times, improve efficiency, and lower operational costs.
  • Standardize processes and create clear documentation to ensure consistency, compliance, and scalability.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams (operations, quality, supply chain, etc.) to align and execute process changes.
  • Build and deliver reports, dashboards, and presentations to communicate insights and recommendations to stakeholders.
  • Support automation and digitization initiatives to streamline manual tasks and enhance data accuracy.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement projects and monitor their impact on KPIs.
  • Present outcomes and ROI of improvement initiatives to leadership, demonstrating measurable results in efficiency, quality, and delivery.

Requirements
  • 1–2 years of experience in process improvement, operational excellence, business analytics, or a related field.
  • Demonstrated success in delivering measurable business impact (e.g., reduced cycle times, streamlined workflows, cost savings, KPI improvements).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to convert data into actionable insights.
  • Proficiency in Excel; familiarity with BI/analytics tools (SQL, Cognos preferred but not essential).
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across multiple levels.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy in process analysis and documentation.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Analytics, Operations, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
