Senior Analyst – Strategic Intelligence
Our client, a global advisory firm, is seeking sharp, curious, and driven individuals to join their growing Strategic Intelligence team.
As a Senior Analyst you’ll work with some of the world’s leading private equity firms, Magic Circle law firms, and largest global companies. You’ll play a key role in supporting project teams throughout our project lifecycle – from researching complex commercial issues and shaping intelligence-gathering strategies, to analysing findings and delivering nuanced insights to clients. Role responsibilities As a Senior Analyst, you will:
  • Conduct qualitative research to support complex due diligence and strategic intelligence projects for clients making high-value investment decisions.
  • Collect and analyse open-source information to assess regulatory and commercial risks, and to build a well-rounded understanding of acquisition targets, counterparties, and the markets in which they operate.
  • Contribute to the development of intelligence-gathering strategies.
  • Engage with a network of external contacts to gather and verify critical information for live mandates.
  • Turn complex findings into clear, concise analysis and draft client reports that directly inform decision-making at the highest levels.
Skills required:
  • We’re looking for individuals who combine intellectual rigour with strong communication skills and a genuine interest in investigative work. The ideal candidate will have: A sharp, creative, investigative mindset and an enthusiasm for deep research and analysis.
  • Prior experience using US-focused open-source databases and research techniques is essential; familiarity with investigating Latin American data sources is a plus.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and persuasively.
  • Strong analytical judgement, with the capacity to identify important information and assess its relevance and reliability.
  • Excellent organisational skills, with a track record of managing concurrent projects and delivering high-quality work to tight deadlines.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with the confidence to work collaboratively, to contribute to team culture, and engage with external contacts.
  • Impeccable attention to detail
  • Fluency in English; Fluency in Spanish is an advantage.
