Alchemy is partnering with a leading airline seeking a Senior Manager, Business Support and Financial Control to join their team in Doha, Qatar. 
As a key member of the team, you will add value by building trusted relationships with Finance and Revenue Management leaders, delivering insightful reporting and analysis for senior and executive management. 

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the development of group goals and objectives by providing senior management with actionable insights and ensuring optimal allocation of resources.
  • Develop strategic financial plans by providing comprehensive information to measure performance and guide Revenue Management toward sustainable profitability.
  • Advise the CFO and senior management on financial planning, budgeting, cash flow, investment priorities, and policy matters.
  • Foster effective communication and relationships between senior Finance management and Revenue Management, acting as a transparent and trusted business partner.
  • Integrate market intelligence into strategic planning to ensure a focus on competitive advantage.
  • Conduct detailed financial analyses, including monthly and quarterly KPI reporting, cost of investment, financing scenarios, revenue/cost assumptions, manpower impacts, sensitivity analyses, and the preparation of EVA metrics such as IRR, NPV, and payback analysis. Highlight risks and opportunities associated with projects.
  • Provide objective financial insights and recommendations for resource allocation to achieve Revenue Management objectives efficiently.
  • Incorporate forecasting into organizational planning and identify major risks and opportunities from normal operations.
  • Lead strategic business initiatives and evaluate investment allocation, creating structured business cases for projects, including cost-benefit analysis, scope, dependencies, risk, and alignment with strategic objectives.
  • Increase financial awareness among senior management through clear, transparent, and actionable reports, analyses, and presentations, emphasizing KPIs and key messages.

Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience.
  • At least 5 years in an airline management role.
  • Hands-on experience in Revenue Management and strong knowledge of airline operations.
  • Excellent command of the English language.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess variances, understand business cycles, and their impact on profit and loss.
  • Outstanding communication and presentation skills, with the ability to collaborate across all levels of the organization.
  • High integrity, transparency, and strong interpersonal “soft skills”; a team-oriented mindset.
  • Passion for digitalization and innovation.
  • Customer-centric approach with exceptional organizational skills, able to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Proven managerial capabilities: ability to delegate, set clear direction, manage workflow, mentor and coach team members, develop skills, and foster teamwork.
