Associate Director Europe

A strategic intelligence consultancy requires an Associate Director to join its London-based Europe team. This focus of this position is commercial due diligence, strategic intelligence, transaction advisory, corporate investigations, and complex commercial projects across global markets.
As Associate Director you will be working with senior executives, investors, and corporate stakeholders, providing critical insights for commercial risks, regulatory environments, market dynamics, and strategic decision-making.

Duties include:
Project leading for complex commercial due diligence and strategic intelligence.
Acting as trusted advisor to clients advising on commercial risks associated with mergers, acquisitions, investments, and transactions.
Conducting in-depth qualitative research and analysis into companies, markets, industries, and senior stakeholders.
Managing client engagements across multiple sectors and international jurisdictions.
Delivering strategic insight on regulatory, political, reputational, and operational risks.
Producing high-quality written long-form reports, briefings, and presentations.
Building and leveraging professional human source networks to gather intelligence and insights.
Managing execution team ensuring project timelines, client expectations are met.
Assisting the business development team with BD initiatives and enhancing client relationships.
Training and mentoring junior colleagues and collaborating with global teams.
Providing recommendations to support critical business decisions.

Necessary experience:
6-7 years’ experience within strategic intelligence, consulting, finance, legal advisory, or related field.
Strong commercial acumen.
Proven research, analytical, and investigative skills.
Exceptional written and verbal communication ability.
Multi-tasker with ability to manage multiple complex projects in a fast-paced environment.
