Key Responsibilities:
- Install 2D and 3D artworks with a focus on accuracy, safety, and visual presentation
- Use appropriate hanging systems, tools, and hardware.
- Assess wall types, surfaces, and spatial layouts to determine the best installation methods.
- Assist with transportation, packing, and unpacking of artworks.
- Wrap, pad, and protect artworks using suitable materials for storage and transit.
- Measure, level, and align works according to the clients vision.
- Follow all health and safety procedures, working in a clear and safe environment.
- Liaise with curators, clients, project managers, and registrars to coordinate smooth installations and client vision.
- Document installation details, artwork conditions, and handling notes maintaining inventory management.
- Support installation and deinstallation of projects.
- Experience in art installation, picture hanging, or fine art handling.
- Strong knowledge of hanging hardware, systems, and professional display techniques.
- Skilled in using power tools and basic carpentry.
- Exceptional attention to detail and professionalism as you will be in direct contact with clients on a daily basis.
- Ability to read floorplans, layouts, and curator instructions.
- Physically fit and comfortable handling large, heavy, or delicate objects.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Valid driver’s license (preferred).
