Key Responsibilities:
- Manage end-to-end government household goods and relocation files from booking through delivery
- Coordinate domestic and international moves for Department of State or similar government accounts
- Liaise with origin and destination service partners to ensure policy compliance
- Schedule surveys, packing, transport, storage, customs, and final delivery milestones
- Monitor shipment statuses and proactively resolve service delays or escalations
- Ensure all documentation meets government contract and audit requirements
- Maintain accurate move records within relocation management systems
- Communicate regularly with transferees, agencies, carriers, and internal stakeholders
- Review invoicing, billing accuracy, and cost controls against approved tariffs
- Support claims handling and service recovery where required
- Ensure KPI, SLA, and quality standards are consistently achieved
- Provide guidance to junior coordinators on government relocation processes
Key Skills & Experience:
- Proven experience in moving, household goods, or relocation coordination
- Prior exposure to government, diplomatic, or regulated relocation accounts
- Strong knowledge of international shipping, customs, and documentation processes
- Experience managing multiple high-volume move files simultaneously
- Excellent client communication and issue-resolution skills
- Proficiency with relocation software, CRM, and shipment tracking system
