Our client is a moving and relocation company looking to recruit a Remote Senior ITGBL Move Coordinator based on the East Coast, with remote arrangements available. This position focuses on government moves under the International Through Government Bill of Lading (ITGBL) programme. You'll be responsible for keeping shipments on track, working with agents and carriers, and ensuring customers are kept informed throughout their move.
What we're looking for:
- Experience coordinating ITGBL moves within the moving and storage industry.
- Understanding of interstate transportation, linehaul operations and van line procedures.
- Knowledge of shipment tracking, delivery spreads and storage-in-transit procedures.
- Experience communicating with van operators, interstate agents, carriers and customers.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple shipments, deadlines and changing delivery schedules.
What you'll be doing:
- Overseeing household goods shipments from origin through to final delivery.
- Arranging linehaul transportation and coordinating with van operators, carriers and destination agents.
- Tracking shipment movements, monitoring delivery spreads and keeping customers updated on expected arrival dates.
- Handling ITGBL shipments, ensuring government move requirements and documentation are followed.
- Working with origin and destination agents to arrange packing, loading, storage-in-transit (SIT) and delivery services.
- Reviewing shipment paperwork, including bills of lading, inventories and delivery documentation.
- Dealing with shipment delays, delivery changes, claims enquiries and other issues affecting moves.
