The Role
You will visit customers at their homes or business premises, as well as carry out virtual surveys, to assess their moving requirements and recommend the most suitable removals solution. You'll build strong relationships with customers, gather accurate information for quotations and work closely with the office team to help secure new business.
Your day will involve surveying domestic, commercial and international moves, assessing property access, packing requirements and specialist handling needs. You'll prepare clear survey reports, maintain an organised survey diary and ensure every survey is completed to company and industry standards. You'll also follow up quotations, answer customer questions and identify opportunities to win new business through excellent service and relationship building.
What We're Looking For
- Previous experience within the removals or relocation industry.
- Surveying experience or an operational background in removals with the desire to move into sales.
- Knowledge of domestic, commercial and international moving services.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Strong organisation and diary management abilities.
- Good attention to detail when assessing moves and preparing survey information.
- A professional and customer-focused approach.
