At Alchemy we are seeking a detail-oriented Art Registrar to join a leading fine art logistics company in New York. This role is responsible for the accurate management, documentation, and tracking of high-value artworks across storage, transport, and installation projects.<br>

Working closely with operations, warehouse teams, and clients, the Registrar will ensure all inventory, condition reporting, and compliance processes are maintained to the highest standards. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong administrative and inventory background within fine art logistics, galleries, or museums.<br>

<strong>Key Responsibilities: </strong>
<ul>
	<li>Maintain accurate inventory records for artworks across storage facilities and transit 
	<li>Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments, ensuring all documentation is complete and accurate 
	<li>Prepare and manage condition reports, loan agreements, and shipping documentation 
	<li>Track artwork movements and update internal systems in real time 
	<li>Liaise with clients, galleries, museums, and internal teams to ensure smooth logistics execution 
	<li>Support packing, crating, and installation planning from a documentation and compliance perspective 
	<li>Ensure compliance with international shipping regulations, customs documentation, and insurance requirements 
	<li>Manage digital and physical records, including cataloguing and database management

At Alchemy, our client, a well-established Fine Art company, is seeking an Import / Export Manager to oversee international shipping operations and support the safe and efficient movement of high-value artworks. This role will manage day-to-day import/export activity while coordinating closely with logistics partners, internal teams and clients to ensure shipments are handled smoothly and in full compliance with customs regulations.<br>

<strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong>
<ul>
	<li>Manage import/export shipments across air, sea and road freight
	<li>Handle customs entries, export declarations and shipping documentation
	<li>Coordinate with freight forwarders, airlines and customs brokers
	<li>Manage AWBs (including ICASS), airline bookings and air freight operations (IATA)
	<li>Oversee HTS coding, duties/tax verification and import processing
	<li>Coordinate sea freight bookings and shipping instructions
	<li>Ensure compliance with TSA / CTPAT regulations
	<li>Maintain strong client, supplier and partner relationships
	<li>Monitor shipments end-to-end and resolve any issues
