Admin Assistant

Job Description

Our client a reputable company in the UK removals industry, is seeking an administrative assistant, to join their growing team based in North London on a hybrid basis with one day in the office per week.

Responsibilities: 
  • Possess great organizational abilities, an attention to detail, and a drive to finish assignments.
  • Help with removal projects and work planning, scheduling, and delivery.
  • Assisting the Removals Branch Manager with any necessary administrative tasks.
  • Developing customer quotes and helping with RFP requests.
  • Uploading removals job records and updating database entries.
  • Responsible for creating removal crew documentation and handouts.
  • Assist in the management of significant projects.
  • Arrange meetings, attend them, take notes as needed, and make sure that clients, partners, and internal teams are given tasks to complete.
  • Reserving freight services for transporting containers.
  • Creating all letters, communication, and directions for the removal client and all supply parties, as well as gathering all necessary paperwork for importation.
  • Assisting the removals sales team with presentations, calls, and sales drives.
  • Alert colleagues to potential risks and advise contractors.
  • Ensure that the clients OH&S and environmental regulations are carefully followed by all operations that are directly under your direct authority.

Skills & Requirements:
  • Previous experience within the Moving/ Freight/ logistics role is preferred.
  • Notifying senior management of any events involving OH&S or environmental policies.
  • Training in health & safety, Manual Handling, GDPR.
  • Adaptability to a changing work environment.
