Assignment Management Consultant

Job Description

An international mobility provider is looking to hire a skilled Global Assignment Consultant to join their mobility management team.

The ideal candidate will have prior experience working in-house within global mobility and will have in depth knowledge of process and procedure.
Your role will be to provide outstanding professional service delivery to corporate clients and their expat employees.

You’ll support end to end global mobility program and process management; supplier/vendor coordination; data compliance; and will deliver advisory services.

Responsibilities include:
  • Managing the global mobility policy and processes
  • Reviewing and consolidating International Mobility policies to align with business needs
  • Reviewing and streamline processes to ensure consistent movement of talent between countries
  • Generating assignment letters based on the approved mobility package
  • Managing regional external relocation, tax, and immigration vendors
  • Ensuring suppliers adhere to contract and performance standards 
  • Using global mobility tools and technology (such as Assignment Pro)
  • Manage and maintain the database of assignments and generate regular reports 
  • Analyse costs efficiency, move effectiveness and ROI 
  • Serve as the directly Global Mobility contact between vendors and assignees
  • Assist assignee with questions and queries 
  • Providing regular information on changed in the global mobility sector
  • Ensuring documentation as needed for each stage of the assignment lifecycle (costs estimates, assignment letters, tax etc)
  • Maintaining the accuracy of stored data
  • Ensuring compliance, GDPR, and ISO principles
Qualifications and Skills:
  • In-house global mobility experience is essential 
  • 5 years + working in international mobility, HR and expat management 
  • In depth knowledge of global mobility and international relocation processed 
  • Experience of managing employee moves under different mobility provisions across countries will be added advantage
  • Well-versed in mobility and HR operations with good work process in issues management
  • Good understanding of global mobility functional requirements (immigration, tax, social security, logistics and cross border move management).
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills
  • Accurate and strong administration and project management skills 
  • Excellent client service skills
  • Ability to liaise successfully with vendors and assignees
  • Attention to detail
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • Global travel when required
