Assistant Accountant, Accounts Receivable

Job Description

An opportunity has become available for an experienced Assistant Accountant, Accounts Receivable to join a large business in Hong Kong.

Key Duties:

  • Manage accounts receivable for APAC
  • Compile billings for referral fee and commission revenue
  • Handle bank related matters
  • Prepare month-end closing journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations
  • Monitor client funding cashflow
  • Liaise and follow up with billing team and clients on invoices and payment issues
  • Apply receipts for Invoices for both clients and suppliers
  • Assist in preparation of monthly withholding tax and GST return for India


  • Around 3+ years experience in accounting
  • Proficient user in accounting software and Microsoft Suite (including Word and Excel), Oracle experience preferred
  • Minimum Bachelor’s degree or higher in Accounting or Finance
  • Extremely organised with a keen eye for detail
  • Ability to meet deadlines and work in a fast paced environment
  • Excellent communication skills
