Move Manager

Our client a successful and established International Removals company are seeking a Move Manager to join their team based in the outskirts of Birmingham.

The Move Manager will manage the full household goods moving process, partnering with corporate clients throughout their relocation process and will be responsible for ensuring client satisfaction during the move..

Responsibilities:
  • To manage client goods moving services through corporate and private accounts
  • To communicate with shipping lines and airfreight companies
  • To gather the documentation required for moving service delivery
  • Create invoices for removal clients and corporate accounts and ensure payment terms are met and received on time.
  • Margin management and commercial awareness for all managed files
  • To ensure that all removal administrative tasks are completed in a professional but timely manner and are properly recorded on the data system.
  • To closely monitor consignment tracking around the world, ensuring that all internal departments and agents meet removal customer expectations.
  • To provide first-rate removals advice and information to clients.
  • In the event of a claim, communicate with insurance brokers and the removals client.

Requirements:
  • Exceptional organisational and data entry skills; multitasking ability
  • Excellent administrative and customer service skills; able to communicate clearly and effectively by listening to and addressing removal customer needs wherever possible.
  • Can work on own initiative but also within a team collaboration
  • Excellent motivation and determination to complete tasks to a high standard
  • Capable of handling seasonal increases / decreases in work volume
  • Computer literate and able to quickly learn new systems
  • Capacity to overcome obstacles and solve problems
  • Prior industry experience (minimum 2 years) - Essential
  • Essential to speak and write English
  • Prior removals operational experience - Preferred
  • Prior accounting experience – Preferred
  • Multilingual – Desirable
  • Prior experience using a database system - Ideally, but not required
