Join a dynamic and fast-paced defence and aerospace services company as an Accounts Clerk, where your analytical expertise will support critical financial operations and strategic decision-making. Based in Milwaukee, this role offers the opportunity to work in a regulated industry, contributing to financial planning and analysis in compliance with US GAAP and internal controls.

What You’ll Be Doing:
  • Prepare monthly financial statements including income statement, balance sheet, and cash flow at both segment and consolidated levels.
  • Perform monthly close processes such as journal entries, reconciliations, and documentation support.
  • Conduct monthly bank reconciliations and manage necessary corrections.
  • Maintain accurate work papers supporting account balances and ensuring internal control compliance.
  • Assist with external audits by preparing schedules, providing documentation, and liaising with auditors.
  • Ensure adherence to internal accounting policies and relevant contractual obligations.
  • Support segment-level and consolidated budget preparation and variance analysis.
  • Generate management reports covering metrics like regional profitability and cash flow trends.
  • Help prepare board-level financial presentations.
  • Contribute to weekly and monthly revenue forecasting activities.
  • Complete financial and contractual reporting obligations for external stakeholders.
  • Provide ad-hoc financial modeling and analysis to support strategic business initiatives.

What We’re Looking For:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (required); CPA or Master’s in Accounting/Finance is a plus.
  • 1–3 years of experience in accounting, auditing, or financial analysis, with exposure to budgeting and reporting.
  • Strong understanding of US GAAP and internal control frameworks.
  • Proven experience with monthly close procedures and financial statement preparation.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organisational and analytical skills.
  • Prior experience in defence, aerospace, or a similarly regulated industry preferred.
