We are partnering with a leading Fine Art & Design shipping company to appoint a senior Business Development professional to spearhead growth across the French and international markets. Based in the Paris Region, this role combines high-level sales leadership with end-to-end project management on major fine art shipping assignments.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead sales and business development across the Paris art and design markets
- Identify, pitch, and secure new business with galleries, auction houses, institutions, designers, and private clients
- Build and maintain long-term client relationships and represent the company at industry events
- Oversee end-to-end shipping projects, ensuring seamless planning and execution
- Prepare quotations, budgets, and project proposals
- Coordinate packing, transport, installation, storage, and overall logistics workflows
- Manage customs documentation and compliance
- Monitor project timelines and proactively address risks or delays
- Act as the main point of contact for clients throughout each project
- Manage key accounts to ensure service excellence and client satisfaction
- Collaborate with operations teams to deliver projects efficiently and to standard
Key Requirements
- 10–15 years’ experience in fine art or design logistics
- Strong sales and business development background with an established French and international network
- Proven ability to manage complex shipping or logistics projects
- Solid understanding of packing, transport, customs, storage, and art handling processes
- Exceptional communication, organisational, and client-facing skills
- Independent, proactive, and results-driven
- Fluency in French and English is essential
