This position blends on-site home surveys with office-based sales responsibilities, offering a dynamic and client-facing role. Suited to a sales professional with moving industry experience, the role is instrumental in driving business growth and ensuring excellent customer outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Carry out comprehensive in-home surveys to evaluate shipment size, property access, and individual client moving requirements
  • Develop precise and competitive quotations tailored to customer needs and company pricing guidelines
  • Handle incoming relocation enquiries, converting prospects into confirmed bookings through effective sales techniques
  • Actively source new business opportunities through networking, referrals, and engagement within the local community
  • Establish and nurture strong client relationships to encourage repeat business and referrals
  • Prepare, deliver, and negotiate moving proposals and contractual agreements with prospective customers
  • Coordinate with operations and moving teams to ensure seamless service delivery and a high standard of customer satisfaction
  • Keep accurate and up-to-date records of all sales activity within CRM systems and internal platforms
  • Track sales pipeline progress, providing regular performance updates and identifying areas for improvement
  • Stay informed on industry developments, competitor offerings, and local market trends within the moving sector
  • Attend and represent the company at local events, networking opportunities, and industry gatherings
  • Provide outstanding customer service throughout the entire relocation process, including post-move follow-up

Key Skills & Experience:
  • Previous sales experience within the moving or relocation industry
  • Solid understanding of residential moving procedures, including conducting in-home surveys
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a customer-first mindset
  • Proven ability to generate leads and build a reliable network of business contacts
  • Competence in using CRM systems and sales management tools
  • Well-organised with excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple client enquiries effectively
