Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct detailed in-home surveys to assess volume, access, and specific client relocation requirements
- Prepare accurate and competitive residential moving quotations in line with client needs and company pricing structures
- Manage inbound relocation enquiries, converting leads into confirmed bookings through consultative sales techniques
- Proactively generate new residential moving business through networking, referrals, and local market engagement
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to ensure repeat business and positive referrals
- Prepare, present, and negotiate moving proposals and service agreements with prospective customers
- Liaise closely with operations and moving teams to ensure smooth service delivery and customer satisfaction
- Maintain accurate records of all sales activity using CRM systems and internal reporting tools
- Monitor sales pipeline performance, providing regular updates and identifying opportunities for growth
- Stay informed on residential moving industry trends, competitor activity, and local market conditions
- Represent the business at local events, property networks, and industry functions to promote services
- Deliver exceptional end-to-end customer service, including post-move follow-up and issue resolution
Key Skills & Experience:
- Proven sales experience within the relocation, removals, or logistics industry
- Strong knowledge of residential moving processes, including in-home survey techniques
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills with a customer-focused approach
- Demonstrated ability to generate leads and develop a strong local business network
- Proficiency in CRM systems and sales tracking tools
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple enquiries simultaneously
