We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established commercial moving business that is looking for a proactive Commercial Business Development Manager. The role will focus on driving revenue, building strong partnerships, and delivering high-quality relocation solutions within the commercial sector. The company offers flexible working options. You can be office-based, work remotely, or choose a hybrid approach. Attendance at sales meetings at their head office is required at least twice a month.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Identify and target new commercial clients in London, including offices, retail, and industrial facilities
- Build and nurture relationships with decision-makers (facilities managers, procurement leads)
- Develop and deliver persuasive sales presentations and proposals
- Manage the full sales cycle from lead generation to closing deals
- Collaborate with operations to tailor bespoke commercial removal solutions
- Negotiate pricing, terms, and service-level agreements
- Achieve and exceed monthly and quarterly revenue targets
- Coordinate with marketing on targeted campaigns and events
- Maintain accurate CRM records and pipeline forecasts
- Analyze market trends and competitive activity
- Attend relevant networking events and industry conferences
- Provide input for service improvement based on client feedback
What We’re Looking For
- Proven sales or business development experience in commercial removals, relocation, or logistics
- Strong track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Self-motivated, results-driven with a consultative sales approach
- Thorough understanding of the London commercial moving market
- Comfortable working in a hybrid sales/consultative role
