Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive logistics services sales strategy aligned with company objectives.
- Drive sales growth in commercial moving, warehousing, transportation, and logistics services.
- Lead, recruit, mentor, and manage a logistics-focused sales team across multiple regions.
- Personally develop and manage a book of logistics services business across strategic industries.
- Leverage company resources and existing relationships to drive revenue and market share.
- Analyze sales performance data and adjust strategies to meet and exceed sales goals.
- Provide strategic oversight on RFP responses to ensure value propositions are clearly presented.
- Track industry trends to ensure service offerings remain competitive and relevant.
- Collaborate with external marketing partners to implement effective sales campaigns.
- Set pricing strategies that align with market demand and profitability goals.
- Regularly report sales metrics and performance updates to senior leadership.
- Travel as necessary to support clients and expand business relationships.
Key Skills & Experience:
- 10+ years of proven sales management experience within logistics, commercial moving, or relocation services.
- Demonstrated success in building and leading sales teams that meet aggressive growth targets.
- Extensive industry knowledge and a well-established network within the logistics or relocation sector.
- Strong analytical, negotiation, and decision-making skills.
- CRM proficiency (preferably HubSpot) and intermediate to advanced Excel skills.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in business, logistics, or sales leadership.
