A leading Corporate Housing provider is hiring a Government Housing Business Development Manager to grow and manage GSA-led business across the United States. This role is ideal for a sales professional with proven experience supporting federal, state, and government-affiliated accommodation requirements, with strong knowledge of GSA compliance, per diem rates, and government procurement processes.

You will be responsible for winning new contracts, expanding existing government accounts, and ensuring client needs are delivered through compliant, high-quality housing solutions (serviced apartments, extended stay, and short-term furnished accommodation).

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a business development strategy focused on Government Housing and GSA-related accounts.
  • Identify and secure new opportunities across federal agencies, government contractors, and approved procurement channels.
  • Build relationships with key stakeholders including procurement, travel managers, programme leads, and contracting officers.
  • Ensure all housing solutions align with GSA per diem requirements, contract terms, and compliance standards.
  • Manage the full sales lifecycle: outreach, discovery, proposals, pricing, negotiation, and close.
  • Partner with operations, supply chain, and account management teams to deliver seamless onboarding and service execution.
  • Maintain accurate pipeline activity in CRM, including forecasting and performance reporting.
  • Attend industry events and develop referral networks within government, defence, and federal contracting sectors.
  • Monitor competitor activity, rate changes, and government procurement updates to maintain an edge in the market.


Key Skills & Experience

  • Demonstrable success in B2B sales / business development within Corporate Housing or Government Travel/Housing.
  • Strong working knowledge of GSA requirements, including per diem rates and government travel compliance
  • Experience working with federal agencies, defence contractors, or government procurement frameworks
  • Strong negotiation skills and confidence managing contracts and pricing structures.
  • Proactive, commercial, and comfortable working to targets in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills with a professional and consultative approach.
  • Confident using CRM systems to track activity, report performance, and manage account development.
