A well-established hotel group in Amsterdam is seeking a driven Sales Executive to support commercial growth across corporate, leisure, and group business. This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive sales professional with experience in hospitality sales, account management, and relationship-building within a fast-paced hotel environment.

You will play a key role in generating new business, nurturing existing accounts, and supporting wider sales initiatives to increase occupancy, revenue, and long-term client partnerships.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and secure new business opportunities across corporate, leisure, MICE, and group segments.
  • Build and manage strong relationships with travel agents, corporate clients, event planners, and key local partners.
  • Handle inbound sales enquiries and proactively convert leads into confirmed bookings and contracts.
  • Attend client meetings, networking events, and site inspections to promote the hotel and its facilities.
  • Support the development and execution of sales strategies to achieve monthly and annual revenue targets.
  • Coordinate with internal teams (reservations, revenue management, front office, and operations) to ensure smooth service delivery.
  • Maintain accurate activity tracking and pipeline reporting using the hotel’s CRM systems.
  • Provide market insight on competitor activity, rate positioning, and local trends to support commercial decision-making.


Key Skills & Experience

  • Proven experience in a hotel sales role (Sales Executive, Sales Coordinator, Account Executive or similar).
  • Strong understanding of the Amsterdam hospitality market is highly desirable.
  • Confident communicator with strong negotiation and relationship management skills.
  • Results-driven, commercially minded, and comfortable working towards targets.
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and manage multiple enquiries at once.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and CRM systems; experience with hotel systems is an advantage.
  • Fluent English and Dutch is required.
