A well-established hotel group in Amsterdam is seeking a driven Sales Executive to support commercial growth across corporate, leisure, and group business. This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive sales professional with experience in hospitality sales, account management, and relationship-building within a fast-paced hotel environment.
You will play a key role in generating new business, nurturing existing accounts, and supporting wider sales initiatives to increase occupancy, revenue, and long-term client partnerships.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and secure new business opportunities across corporate, leisure, MICE, and group segments.
- Build and manage strong relationships with travel agents, corporate clients, event planners, and key local partners.
- Handle inbound sales enquiries and proactively convert leads into confirmed bookings and contracts.
- Attend client meetings, networking events, and site inspections to promote the hotel and its facilities.
- Support the development and execution of sales strategies to achieve monthly and annual revenue targets.
- Coordinate with internal teams (reservations, revenue management, front office, and operations) to ensure smooth service delivery.
- Maintain accurate activity tracking and pipeline reporting using the hotel’s CRM systems.
- Provide market insight on competitor activity, rate positioning, and local trends to support commercial decision-making.
Key Skills & Experience
- Proven experience in a hotel sales role (Sales Executive, Sales Coordinator, Account Executive or similar).
- Strong understanding of the Amsterdam hospitality market is highly desirable.
- Confident communicator with strong negotiation and relationship management skills.
- Results-driven, commercially minded, and comfortable working towards targets.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and manage multiple enquiries at once.
- Proficiency in MS Office and CRM systems; experience with hotel systems is an advantage.
- Fluent English and Dutch is required.
