Alchemy is partnering with a leading organisation seeking a Head of IFEC Programs to join their team in Doha, Qatar. 

This role will provide strategic leadership and oversight for the design, development, and delivery of inflight entertainment transformation.


Responsibilities:
  • Define and drive the long-term IFEC (In-Flight Entertainment and Connectivity) and Connected Cabin strategy, ensuring alignment with corporate goals and customer experience transformation.
  • Develop and execute the multi-year IFEC roadmap, fully integrated with the organisation's customer experience vision, digital transformation agenda, and fleet plans.
  • Lead portfolio prioritisation, business case development, and investment proposals for new IFEC and digital initiatives.
  • Anticipate market trends and emerging technologies to position the company as a global leader in the inflight digital passenger experience.
  • Translate strategic priorities into transformation programmes, securing cross-functional alignment and senior executive sponsorship.
  • Direct the delivery of multiple large-scale programmes covering IFEC, connectivity, and digital passenger experience.
  • Establish governance structures, PMO frameworks, and performance dashboards to ensure discipline, transparency, and measurable impact.
  • Align internal teams (Product, IT, Engineering, Data, Cabin Interiors, Regulatory, Compliance) and external partners to achieve seamless programme execution.
  • Ensure programmes are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality, compliance, and passenger satisfaction standards.
  • Act as the senior point of contact for executive leadership, OEMs, suppliers, and regulators on IFEC and Connected Cabin programmes.
  • Influence and engage cross-functional leaders to support delivery of the IFEC roadmap.
  • Represent the company at global aviation, digital, and IFEC industry forums, showcasing the airline as a digital innovation leader.
  • Own and manage the IFEC and Connected Cabin portfolio budget, ensuring strong financial governance, supplier accountability, and efficient resource allocation.
  • Monitor programme risks, dependencies, and compliance, implementing proactive mitigation and clear reporting to leadership.
  • Lead supplier negotiations and partnerships to deliver commercial value and long-term advantage.
  • Mentor and develop managers and programme leaders, fostering a culture of innovation, accountability, and high performance.
  • Build internal expertise in IFEC technologies, programme delivery, and digital passenger experience.
  • Establish succession planning and capability frameworks to ensure long-term organisational resilience.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 10 years’ programme or project management experience, ideally within customer-facing technology, product development, or service innovation.
  • Proven track record of leading multi-year, enterprise-level digital or connectivity transformation programmes.
  • Deep expertise in IFEC and Connected Cabin technologies, including inflight connectivity, digital entertainment platforms, emerging content ecosystems, and personalisation solutions.
  • Strong background in portfolio management, governance frameworks, and executive-level reporting.
  • Financial acumen with experience managing multimillion-dollar budgets, supplier negotiations, and value-focused investment strategies.
  • Skilled at influencing and engaging C-level executives, OEMs, regulators, and strategic partners to shape outcomes and secure alignment.
  • Strong awareness of global aviation digital trends, cybersecurity, data compliance, and evolving customer experience demands.
  • Demonstrated ability to build, lead, and inspire high-performing teams, empowering managers to deliver at scale.
  • Experience coordinating complex, cross-functional programmes involving both internal stakeholders and external partners.
  • Expertise in structured governance processes, including risk management, milestone tracking, and issue resolution.
  • Hands-on experience in large-scale technology rollouts, covering implementation, testing, and operational readiness.
  • Strong attention to detail, with the ability to work under pressure and deliver against strict deadlines.
