Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a structured plan of sales appointments with new and existing clients
- Generate and pursue new business opportunities across freight, relocation, and logistics services
- Conduct face-to-face, phone, and networking-based client engagement
- Prepare tailored proposals and presentations to secure new contracts
- Manage your own calendar and set sales appointments independently
- Sell import/export services, including air and sea freight
- Provide sales support during Business Development meetings
- Maintain accurate visit reports in the CRM system
- Meet KPIs for visits and sales performance reporting
- Build and maintain key client relationships to maximize revenue potential
- Track competitor performance to inform strategy and positioning
- Collaborate on tailored transport solutions with internal specialist teams
Key Experience & Skills
- Proven experience in import, export, or freight forwarding sales
- Demonstrated ability to identify and close new business opportunities
- Experience selling international air and sea freight services
- Valid UK driver's license and ability to travel as and when needed.
- Comfortable managing a personal sales calendar and setting appointments
- Strong communication and negotiation skills across in-person and virtual channels
