Key Responsibilities:
- Install 2D and 3D artworks with a focus on accuracy, safety, and visual presentation
- Use appropriate hanging systems, tools, and hardware (e.g., French cleats, security hangers, museum rails)
- Assess wall types, surfaces, and spatial layouts to determine optimal installation methods
- Assist with transportation, packing, and unpacking of artworks to museum-quality standards
- Wrap, pad, and protect artworks using archival materials for storage or transit
- Measure, level, and align works according to curatorial or client specifications
- Follow all health and safety procedures and maintain an organized, hazard-free workspace
- Liaise with curators, clients, project managers, and registrars to coordinate smooth installations
- Document installation details, artwork conditions, and handling notes for recordkeeping
- Support setup and takedown of exhibitions and art fairs as required
- Experience in art installation, picture hanging, or fine art handling
- Strong knowledge of hanging hardware, systems, and professional display techniques
- Skilled in using power tools and basic carpentry
- Exceptional attention to detail and professionalism
- Ability to read and interpret floorplans, layouts, and curator instructions
- Physically fit and comfortable handling large, heavy, or delicate objects
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Valid driver’s license (preferred)
