Alchemy is partnering with a leading aerospace manufacturer seeking an NDT Technician (Level II & III) to perform inspections and support quality assurance activities within Manufacturing, ensuring compliance with customer requirements.

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct and document inspections and verifications on products, components, and processes according to defined requirements. Utilize NDT inspection tools such as radiographic and liquid penetrant equipment.
  • Implement, maintain, and support systems aligned with AS and ISO Quality Management System standards.
  • Ensure NDT procedures, work instructions, and techniques are properly established and approved by a Level III inspector.
  • Obtain customer approval for procedures or processes when required.
  • Monitor, maintain, and control all NDT inspection and test equipment—including calibration, labeling, and storage.
  • Maintain equipment and material records in accordance with procedures, standards, and customer expectations.
  • Prepare and retain verification documents derived from inspection activities.
  • Collect, organize, and present quality data in a clear and concise manner.
  • Perform annual system and performance audits to verify compliance of systems, inspectors, operators, and equipment.
  • Process non-conformance reports (NRs).
  • Evaluate customer-returned products (RMAs) to confirm issues and initiate NR documentation.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams on quality-related matters; assist operators in understanding and interpreting specifications and procedures.
  • Support the Quality Manager with issues related to product and system performance.
  • Provide training to team members in relevant areas of expertise.
  • Assist in presenting processes to customers and agencies (e.g., NADCAP) for system reviews and certifications.

Requirements:
  • Minimum of five years of experience in inspection or quality assurance, including work with ISO/AS systems.
  • Knowledge of NDT equipment and requirements.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and operation sheets.
  • Proficiency with computers and common software (Windows, MS Office, email, etc.).
  • A proactive, hands-on approach to work.
  • Valid Level II certifications and supporting documentation required for the role.
