Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, coordinate and deliver residential interstate moves from initial booking through to final delivery
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients, providing clear guidance, regular updates and issue resolution throughout the relocation process
- Develop detailed move plans including timelines, routing, labour allocation, equipment and packing requirements
- Coordinate closely with van line partners, drivers, crews and third-party service providers to ensure seamless execution
- Ensure full compliance with all state and federal regulations governing interstate household goods transportation
- Monitor and manage move budgets, ensuring accurate cost control, billing and financial reporting
- Proactively identify risks or delays and implement solutions to maintain service quality and delivery schedules
- Handle claims, complaints and client feedback professionally to maintain high customer satisfaction levels
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation including contracts, inventories, estimates and correspondence
- Utilise moving and logistics management systems to track progress and improve operational efficiency
- Support internal teams with clear communication and workload coordination across multiple active moves
- Uphold company service standards and represent the business professionally at all times
Key Skills & Experience:
- Proven experience coordinating interstate residential moves within the moving and relocation industry
- Demonstrated van line experience with strong knowledge of long-haul household goods operations
- Solid understanding of interstate logistics, compliance requirements and transportation regulations
- Strong project management and organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple relocations simultaneously
- Experience using moving industry software and operational systems
- Excellent communication, customer service and problem-solving skills, with a focus on client satisfaction
