We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to lead day-to-day operations for a growing office and industrial moving company based in Dallas, TX. This role is responsible for end-to-end operational execution across commercial relocations, dispatch, labor management, and warehouse environments. The ideal candidate brings professionalism, hands-on moving operations experience, and strong leadership across W2 and temporary labor models.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee daily office and industrial (O&I) moving operations from job booking through close-out
  • Manage dispatch operations, routing, crew assignments, and equipment allocation
  • Lead all field operations including supervisors, drivers, movers, and warehouse staff
  • Coordinate W2 labor and temporary labor resources, including temp firm engagement and performance oversight
  • Utilize temp labor firms for arm’s-length projects while maintaining operational quality and compliance
  • Ensure projects are executed on time, on budget, and to client specifications
  • Supervise receiving, staging, storage, and movement of commercial furniture, equipment, and assets
  • Manage warehouse operations, including inventory control, layout planning, and safety standards
  • Implement SOPs for office moves, industrial relocations, and special handling projects
  • Maintain high standards of professionalism, customer service, and client communication
  • Enforce safety protocols, DOT compliance, and company policies across all operations
  • Collaborate with sales and leadership to support growth, capacity planning, and continuous improvement

Key Skills & Experience
  • Proven operations management experience within office, commercial, or industrial moving
  • Strong dispatch experience across multi-crew, multi-site relocation projects
  • Hands-on experience managing W2 labor and supplementing with temporary labor firms
  • Warehouse management experience, including receiving, staging, storage, and inventory
  • High level of professionalism with strong leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to manage complex projects, deadlines, and customer expectations
