The ideal candidate will help ensure product integrity, compliance with specifications, and support continuous improvement of inspection processes.
Responsibilities
- Perform non-destructive testing (NDT) using approved methods (e.g., liquid penetrant, magnetic particle, radiographic, ultrasonic, eddy current) in line with internal, customer, and industry requirements.
- Set up, verify, and calibrate NDT equipment and tools, ensuring readiness and compliance with standards.
- Interpret and evaluate inspection results against acceptance criteria; accurately record and report findings.
- Maintain inspection traceability, documentation, and records in accordance with quality control procedures.
- Support internal quality assurance processes and contribute to meeting certification and audit requirements.
- Work closely with manufacturing, engineering, and quality teams to resolve discrepancies and improve processes.
- Ensure compliance with safety procedures and industry best practices during all inspection activities.
Requirements
- Certified NDT Level 2 qualification in one or more methods (e.g., NAS 410, EN 4179, PCN or equivalent).
- Demonstrated experience performing NDT in a manufacturing or aerospace environment.
- Strong ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documentation.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high quality and safety standards.
- Good communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team.
- Familiarity with NADCAP audits and industry quality systems preferred.
