This role is responsible for driving branch success, ensuring profitability, and leading a high-performing team. Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the removals branch performance, including KPIs, profit and loss, and cost control.
  • Develop and implement business strategies to drive sales and revenue growth.
  • Identify new removals business opportunities, build client relationships, and secure contracts.
  • Ensure compliance with all transport and health & safety regulations.
  • Manage the removals branch resources efficiently, including staffing, training, and operational needs.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a successful removals branch team.
  • Conduct client visits, attend networking events, and strengthen client relationships.
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activity to maintain a competitive edge.
  • Ensure all the removals company premises and assets are maintained and secure.
  • Oversee credit control and financial reporting for the branch.
  • Implement company policies and procedures in line with strategic goals.
  • Attend management meetings and contribute to regional or group initiatives

Key Skills & Experience:
  • Proven experience in a management role within the removals and relocation industry.
  • Strong knowledge of domestic and commercial removals services.
  • Understanding of transport legislation, fleet management, and health & safety compliance.
  • Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to drive business growth through strategic planning and relationship-building.
  • Strong financial acumen, including P&L management and cost control.
