Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the removals branch performance, including KPIs, profit and loss, and cost control.
- Develop and implement business strategies to drive sales and revenue growth.
- Identify new removals business opportunities, build client relationships, and secure contracts.
- Ensure compliance with all transport and health & safety regulations.
- Manage the removals branch resources efficiently, including staffing, training, and operational needs.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a successful removals branch team.
- Conduct client visits, attend networking events, and strengthen client relationships.
- Monitor market trends and competitor activity to maintain a competitive edge.
- Ensure all the removals company premises and assets are maintained and secure.
- Oversee credit control and financial reporting for the branch.
- Implement company policies and procedures in line with strategic goals.
- Attend management meetings and contribute to regional or group initiatives
Key Skills & Experience:
- Proven experience in a management role within the removals and relocation industry.
- Strong knowledge of domestic and commercial removals services.
- Understanding of transport legislation, fleet management, and health & safety compliance.
- Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Ability to drive business growth through strategic planning and relationship-building.
- Strong financial acumen, including P&L management and cost control.
