Our client, an international logistics provider is looking to hire multiple experienced Vice President/Business Development Directors, International Freight Forwarding to be based remotely in the USA.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Sell International Freight Forwarding services including Import, Export, Air, Ocean, and Road Freight as well as warehousing solutions
  • Seek opportunities to generate new business and increase sales through prospecting and cold calling
  • Prepare quotes for international freight forwarding services
  • Ensure sales targets are met and exceeded
  • Attend industry relevant events to generate leads, increase brand awareness and build relationships

Main Requirements:
  • 5+ years Sales & Business Development experience in the Freight Forwarding, Logistics or Shipping industries
  • Must have experience selling international air and ocean freight services
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • Sales hunter with the ability to sell through a consultative solutions based approach
  • Ability to build lasting relationships with new and existing clients
  • Holds existing relationships with key contacts
  • Happy to travel as needed
