We are looking for a Finance Manager to join the finance team in Hong Kong. Reporting to the Asia Finance Director, this role will oversee the financial control function for Hong Kong and Macau while supporting finance matters across North Asia. The successful candidate will work closely with senior management to support business performance, strengthen financial operations, and contribute to the company’s continued growth.
The Finance Manager will be responsible for managing the finance operations of the Hong Kong and Macau offices, including financial reporting, budgeting, compliance, and internal controls. - Support the development and execution of business and financial strategies for Hong Kong and Macau.
- Partner with the General Manager and business unit leaders to support commercial growth and operational performance.
- Oversee financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, audit, tax, accounting, and day-to-day finance operations.
- Manage relationships with banks, financial institutions, and regional finance teams on funding, compliance, and banking matters.
- Assist with feasibility studies and financial analysis for business initiatives and potential M&A activities.
- Liaise with external auditors, tax advisors, and banking partners.
- Review and improve financial controls, policies, and procedures to enhance operational efficiency.
- Work closely with the Shared Service Centre (SSC) to manage accounting processes and monitor internal controls.
- Support tax planning initiatives in line with group requirements.
- Participate in regional finance projects and other tasks assigned by the Asia Finance Director.
- Manage and develop the Hong Kong finance team.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline, with a professional qualification such as ACCA, ICAEW, CPA, or equivalent.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant finance experience.
- Previous audit experience and exposure to multinational companies would be an advantage.
- Strong sense of responsibility with a hands-on and proactive approach.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical and organisational skills.
- Excellent written and spoken English is required.
