We’re currently working with a Louisville, KY-based moving and relocation company seeking to grow their team with a new Moving Operations Manager opportunity. Managing a top-notch team, you’ll be overseeing and maintaining the standards for the company’s moving projects from initial inquiries to post-move support, ensuring the customer’s needs are met and the company’s great reputation for smooth service and delivery is maintained.
As a Moving Operations Manager, your main responsibilities will include:
- Full management of the day-to-day moving and relocation operations.
- Leading and supporting the growth and development of the customer service and move management teams to ensure that standards are met.
- Monitoring the move throughout the process, resolving service issues and customer questions as they arise.
- Reviewing and recommending improvements for the operations policies and procedures.
- Coordinating and communicating frequently with operations and warehouse teams, drivers and third parties to ensure that moves are on schedule.
A successful Moving Operations Manager in this role will have:
- Previous experience in a Moving Operations Manager or similar leadership role within the Moving and Relocation industry.
- Strong understanding of local to long-distance household goods moving procedures.
- Experience with team management and effective communication and collaboration skills.
- The ability to multi-task and manage multiple moves in the pipeline at once.
