We're seeking a Relocation Sales Estimator to support residential and commercial relocation clients across the New York metropolitan area. This hybrid position offers a combination of remote working, office collaboration, and regular travel throughout New York, New Jersey, and Connecticut to conduct surveys, prepare estimates, and develop customized relocation proposals.

The Role:
  • Conducting in-person and virtual surveys for household goods (HHG), office, commercial, and industrial relocation opportunities.
  • Meeting clients throughout the tri-state area to assess moving requirements, understand project scope, and identify service needs.
  • Preparing accurate estimates, quotations, and relocation proposals tailored to each customer.
  • Designing customized moving solutions that align with client budgets, timelines, and operational objectives.
  • Developing new business opportunities through referrals, networking activities, prospecting, and lead follow-up.
  • Building long-term relationships with residential and commercial customers to drive repeat business and referrals.
  • Working closely with operations, move management, and customer service teams to ensure a seamless customer experience.
  • Maintaining accurate sales records, activity updates, forecasts, and customer information within the CRM system.
  • Presenting proposals, managing negotiations, and securing new business opportunities.
  • Monitoring local market activity, industry developments, and competitor offerings.
  • Participating in sales meetings, training initiatives, and business development programs.
  • Achieving and exceeding individual sales and revenue objectives.

What They Require:
  • Experience in a Sales Estimator, Sales Consultant, or Business Development role within the moving and relocation industry.
  • Proven experience conducting HHG and office and industrial relocation surveys and estimates.
  • Strong consultative sales, presentation, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
  • Ability to work independently while effectively managing a hybrid schedule and client-facing travel commitments.
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel extensively throughout the New York, New Jersey, and Connecticut tri-state region.
