Key responsibilities:
- Develop new business opportunities through networking, referrals, and proactive prospecting.
- Build strong relationships with residential customers and corporate clients requiring household goods moving services.
- Meet with prospective customers to understand their moving requirements and recommend suitable solutions.
- Prepare accurate moving estimates, quotations, and service proposals.
- Explain available services, including packing, storage, transportation, and additional moving options.
- Follow up on enquiries and quotations to secure new business.
- Manage customer relationships from the initial enquiry through to the completion of the move.
- Work closely with the operations team to ensure every move runs smoothly and customers receive excellent service.
- Resolve customer queries or concerns quickly and professionally.
- Maintain accurate customer records and sales activity within the CRM system.
- Achieve individual sales targets while identifying opportunities to grow existing accounts.
- Represent the business professionally at networking events and industry functions where required.
Experience needed:
- Previous sales experience within the moving and relocation industry, with a focus on household goods (HHG).
- A proven track record of winning new business and developing long-term customer relationships.
- Confident preparing estimates and presenting moving solutions to customers.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- A valid driver's licence and ability to travel to moving customer appointments when required.
