Moving Sales Consultant - Household Goods

Alchemy is working with a well-established Baltimore Moving & Relocation company that is looking to add an experienced Moving Sales Consultant to their household goods sales team.

Key responsibilities:
  • Develop new business opportunities through networking, referrals, and proactive prospecting.
  • Build strong relationships with residential customers and corporate clients requiring household goods moving services.
  • Meet with prospective customers to understand their moving requirements and recommend suitable solutions.
  • Prepare accurate moving estimates, quotations, and service proposals.
  • Explain available services, including packing, storage, transportation, and additional moving options.
  • Follow up on enquiries and quotations to secure new business.
  • Manage customer relationships from the initial enquiry through to the completion of the move.
  • Work closely with the operations team to ensure every move runs smoothly and customers receive excellent service.
  • Resolve customer queries or concerns quickly and professionally.
  • Maintain accurate customer records and sales activity within the CRM system.
  • Achieve individual sales targets while identifying opportunities to grow existing accounts.
  • Represent the business professionally at networking events and industry functions where required.

Experience needed:
  • Previous sales experience within the moving and relocation industry, with a focus on household goods (HHG).
  • A proven track record of winning new business and developing long-term customer relationships.
  • Confident preparing estimates and presenting moving solutions to customers.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills.
  • A valid driver's licence and ability to travel to moving customer appointments when required.
