Key Responsibilities
- Manage all day-to-day residential moving and relocation operations in the Orlando area.
- Manage the dispatch, scheduling, routing, and coordination of household goods (HHG) movements.
- Lead, mentor, and supervise office employees, movers, packers, and warehouse workers.
- Provide exceptional customer service throughout the moving process.
- Monitor operational KPIs including revenue, profitability, and on-time performance.
- Create and implement methods to increase operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.
- Manage local and interstate residential moving projects from booking through delivery.
- Ensure compliance with DOT regulations, safety standards, and company policies.
- Handle escalated customer concerns, claims resolution, and service recovery efforts.
- Collaborate with sales teams to promote revenue growth and account development.
- Oversee fleet utilization, equipment maintenance coordination, and warehouse operations.
- Create operational reports, budgets, forecasts, and performance updates for top leaders.
Required Skills and Experience
- 5+ years of management experience within the residential moving or relocation industry.
- Excellent understanding of household goods (HHG) operations, dispatch, and crew management.
- Experience managing profit and loss statements, budgets, and operational performance metrics.
- Understanding of DOT compliance, moving industry rules, and safety standards.
- Proven leadership skills with expertise managing drivers, movers, and operational personnel.
- Professional Van-Line experience (Preferred).
