A global business is looking to hire an experienced Supply Chain & Purchasing Manager to oversee purchasing operations, supplier management, inventory control, and procurement processes within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. 
This position is based on site near Oklahoma City, OK. 

The Supply Chain & Purchasing Manager will:
  • Source new suppliers and obtain competitive quotations for materials and services
  • Manage relationships with suppliers to ensure quality, cost-effectiveness, timely delivery, and compliance with contractual agreements
  • Support inventory management activities to minimise stock shortages while maintaining cost efficiency
  • Maintain approved vendor records and conduct regular supplier performance reviews
  • Monitor order status and delivery schedules, proactively managing delays, shortages, overages, and damaged goods
  • Coordinate purchasing activities across multiple departments, ensuring alignment with company policies and operational requirements
  • Work closely with Production teams to support material planning, forecasting, and lead time management
  • Deliver training and guidance relating to purchasing processes and best practices
  • Support purchasing process improvements, inventory controls, and supply chain optimisation initiatives
  • Manage purchasing documentation, shipment records, and procurement reporting
  • Assist in the development and maintenance of purchasing procedures and policies

Key Requirements: 
  • Previous experience within purchasing, procurement or materials management roles
  • Strong supplier and stakeholder management skills
  • Experience working within manufacturing, production, or operational environments preferred
  • Good understanding of inventory management and purchasing processes
  • Ability to analyse data, prioritise workloads, and manage multiple activities simultaneously
  • Experience using ERP systems such as Fishbowl or similar platforms
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred, although relevant experience will also be considered
