This position is based on site near Oklahoma City, OK.
The Supply Chain & Purchasing Manager will:
- Source new suppliers and obtain competitive quotations for materials and services
- Manage relationships with suppliers to ensure quality, cost-effectiveness, timely delivery, and compliance with contractual agreements
- Support inventory management activities to minimise stock shortages while maintaining cost efficiency
- Maintain approved vendor records and conduct regular supplier performance reviews
- Monitor order status and delivery schedules, proactively managing delays, shortages, overages, and damaged goods
- Coordinate purchasing activities across multiple departments, ensuring alignment with company policies and operational requirements
- Work closely with Production teams to support material planning, forecasting, and lead time management
- Deliver training and guidance relating to purchasing processes and best practices
- Support purchasing process improvements, inventory controls, and supply chain optimisation initiatives
- Manage purchasing documentation, shipment records, and procurement reporting
- Assist in the development and maintenance of purchasing procedures and policies
Key Requirements:
- Previous experience within purchasing, procurement or materials management roles
- Strong supplier and stakeholder management skills
- Experience working within manufacturing, production, or operational environments preferred
- Good understanding of inventory management and purchasing processes
- Ability to analyse data, prioritise workloads, and manage multiple activities simultaneously
- Experience using ERP systems such as Fishbowl or similar platforms
- Bachelor’s degree preferred, although relevant experience will also be considered
