A well-established relocation and logistics company is looking to appoint a Vice President of Transportation & Logistics Sales to lead national sales growth and expand its presence across commercial moving, transportation, warehousing, and logistics services.

Based in San Diego, CA, this is a role focused on driving revenue, developing strategic client relationships, and managing large scale sales operations. The successful candidate will play a major role in shaping business development strategy, leading a national sales team, and securing new enterprise opportunities.

This opportunity is ideal for a commercially driven leader with extensive experience in transportation, logistics.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and lead the company’s national growth strategy across transportation and logistics services
• Drive new business development across commercial moving, freight, and warehousing solutions
• Build, manage, and develop a high performing sales team
• Work closely with internal departments to deliver tailored solutions for clients
• Oversee pricing strategy to ensure commercial competitiveness and profitability
• Lead RFP submissions and proposal strategy for major opportunities
• Monitor performance metrics and adjust sales strategies to achieve growth targets
• Partner with marketing teams to strengthen sales support and market positioning
• Stay current on industry trends and market developments
• Provide regular forecasting, reporting, and strategic sales updates to senior leadership
• Travel as needed to support national business development efforts

Requirements:

• 10+ years of senior sales leadership experience within logistics, transportation, relocation, or commercial moving
• Strong record of delivering revenue growth and winning large scale business
• Experience managing and developing successful sales teams
• In depth industry knowledge across transportation, logistics, and commercial relocation
• Strong commercial, negotiation, and leadership skills
• Experience using CRM systems such as HubSpot, along with strong Excel capabilities
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent industry experience
