Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee all warehouse operations including receiving, storage, inventory control, and dispatch for relocation projects
- Manage warehouse staff, drivers, and crew scheduling to ensure operational efficiency
- Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments for household goods (HHG) and commercial relocations
- Ensure proper handling, storage, and security of customer goods and company equipment
- Maintain accurate inventory records using warehouse management systems
- Develop and enforce warehouse safety protocols, OSHA compliance, and operational procedures
- Monitor fleet equipment, storage materials, and warehouse maintenance needs
- Collaborate with operations, customer service, and sales teams to support move planning and execution
- Optimize warehouse layout and storage utilization for maximum efficiency
- Oversee quality assurance for packing, crating, and shipment preparation
- Manage vendor relationships for warehouse supplies and equipment services
- Analyze KPIs, operational costs, and performance metrics to improve profitability and service quality
Key Skills & Experience:
- Proven warehouse management experience within the moving and relocation sector
- Leadership experience managing warehouse teams, logistics staff, and operational workflows
- Proficiency with inventory management systems, logistics software, and reporting tools
- Knowledge of OSHA regulations, warehouse safety standards, and compliance requirements
- Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills
