What You’ll Be Doing:
- Safely handle, wrap, and pack artworks using archival and approved materials.
- Inspect artworks prior to handling, ensuring proper care is taken based on medium and condition.
- Load, secure, and transport artworks using company vehicles for local deliveries.
- Install and de-install artworks in various environments, including homes, offices, and institutions.
- Use hand and power tools for professional installation of artworks.
- Maintain a personal tool kit and readiness for assigned projects.
- Document condition reports, work orders, and relevant operational paperwork accurately.
- Operate proprietary and electronic systems to log transportation and project details.
- Collaborate with project managers, dispatch, and team members for efficient job execution.
- Uphold confidentiality, non-disclosure, and security protocols at all times.
- Comply with DOT requirements and complete TSA CCSF training.
- Maintain a clean, respectful workspace both on-site and during transport.
What We’re Looking For:
- Minimum 2 years of experience in art handling and packing (museum, gallery, private collection, or studio setting).
- Valid driver's licence with a clean driving record.
- Proven knowledge of museum practices and art history.
- Ability to lift and move artworks up to 100 pounds.
- Proficiency in using hand and power tools for installation.
