Our client is seeking a driven Sales Manager based in Indianapolis to lead their inside sales efforts within the relocation/moving industry. The ideal candidate will have experience using Yembo software for virtual surveys, estimates, and move bookings. Hybrid work is available for successful candidates.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Lead and manage the inside sales team responsible for move leads, quoting, and closing
- Use Yembo to conduct virtual surveys, generate visual inventories, and deliver estimates
- Oversee the sales pipeline from lead intake to booked move
- Coach and mentor sales reps to meet quota and performance targets
- Monitor key sales metrics (conversion rates, average sale value, pipeline health)
- Collaborate with marketing, operations, and dispatch to streamline lead handoffs
- Develop and implement sales strategies and processes to drive revenue growth
- Maintain and grow relationships with referral partners, realtors, RMCs, and corporate accounts
- Conduct regular performance reviews, training, and feedback sessions
- Forecast sales, budget, and manage sales incentives and compensation
- Troubleshoot obstacles in closing deals and intervene to support reps
- Stay updated on industry trends, competitive offerings, and pricing strategies
What We’re Looking For
- 3+ years in sales or sales management within the moving services sector
- Hands-on experience using Yembo (or equivalent moving/virtual survey software) for estimating and closing
- Strong leadership, coaching, and people management skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
- Strategic mindset with the ability to plan, forecast, and adjust tactics
