Trainee Removals Branch Manager – Nottingham
Alchemy is working with a leading UK removals company to recruit a Trainee Removals Branch Manager in Nottingham. This is an exciting entry level opportunity in the domestic, international and commercial relocation industry. The role offers full training and fast-track career progression within a busy operational branch environment.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Shadow and support the Branch Manager in day-to-day operations
- Learn to manage branch profitability and cost control
- Assist in sales development for domestic, international, storage, and O&I relocations
- Coordinate quotes, bookings, and job scheduling
- Help manage logistics, vehicles and staff deployment
- Ensure high quality customer service and complaint resolution
- Support personnel management, including training and shift planning
- Monitor inventory, warehouse and storage operations
- Help implement health & safety procedures on removals sites
- Collect operational metrics and assist with performance reporting
- Liaise with suppliers, vendors and industry partners
- Contribute to process improvements and initiatives
What We’re Looking For:
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work independently and in a team
- Good numeracy and literacy, with PC literacy (MS Office)
- Planning and organizational skills
- Highly motivated, ambitious and resourceful attitude
- Relocation or logistics sector experience preferred but not essential
