The Hotel Revenue Assistant will play a key supporting role in driving revenue performance through data analysis, system management, and execution of pricing strategies. Working closely with the Revenue Manager, this position contributes to maximising profitability by ensuring accurate data, efficient processes, and effective coordination across departments.
Responsibilities
- Analyse daily performance data, including occupancy levels, average daily rate (ADR), and revenue per available room (RevPAR), highlighting trends and variances.
- Maintain and update pricing, inventory, and restrictions across distribution systems to reflect current strategies.
- Support the rollout of revenue initiatives by ensuring accurate system configuration across all booking channels.
- Produce regular reporting packs and assist in interpreting data to support commercial decisions.
- Monitor competitor activity and market demand to identify opportunities for rate adjustments.
- Ensure consistency and accuracy of rates across all third-party and direct booking platforms.
- Work cross-functionally with Sales, Reservations, and Front Office teams to support revenue goals.
- Contribute to forecasting and budgeting activities through data collection and initial analysis.
- Assist in preparing materials for revenue meetings and ongoing performance reviews.
- Previous experience within a hotel environment or in a data-driven support role is beneficial.
- Strong numerical and analytical capability, with confidence in Excel and reporting tools.
- Detail-focused with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Clear communicator with a collaborative and proactive approach.
